equipment can either be scanned in or digitally captured via

your remote offices. Most interfaces WILL NOT allow you to
view results from a machine located in another office. The
ones that do are typically slow and not practical for use in

Why import instead of
interface? |
The
benefits of interfaces such as Patient Education and 3D/Layer viewing
are undeniable, but they should not be relied
upon for medical record storage. Most EMR's
that rely on interfaces do not import any results to the
medical record. If the diagnostic machine is turned off, is
not functioning, or is located in another office, you cannot
obtain your result. If you decide to replace the machine,
you may lose access to the data unless the vendor is able to
import it. To top it off, most diagnostic machine vendors do
not currently offer interfaces, so although an interface may
provide several advantages, it may not be available for your
existing machines. Our import methods are compatible with
nearly all modern network connected machines, and will store
the result safely with the patient chart in our system. In
addition, Technicians will enjoy the simplicity, automation, &
consistency in our import methods. Also, most interfaces do
not provide the same data or make it difficult to find the
same data as provided on reports, making the experience
cumbersome and lacking the key data elements found on
reports. |
